Centimeter-Level RTK Positioning

The Inspire 3 integrates highly accurate RTK positioning technology used in industries such as architecture and land surveying for centimeter accuracy. Compared to traditional meter-level positioning supported by Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS), RTK not only makes flying more stable but also makes flight route planning more precise, significantly enhancing creative efficiency.

RTK antennas are built into the airframe with a new stacked ceramic design, supporting three types of GNSS (GPS, BeiDou, and Galileo) and providing dual-frequency positioning accurate to the centimeter level. By activating an RTK network or setting up a D-RTK 2 Mobile Station, users can achieve highly accurate positioning without the need for additional modules.

Waypoint Pro

Specially designed for aerial photography, Waypoint Pro enables flight route and shot planning with a wide range of customizable settings. With the new Repeatable Routes and 3D Dolly modes, an innovative automated shooting experience can be easily achieved. Additionally, centimeter-level RTK ensures more precise aerial route planning and execution. Whether you are shooting alone or with a professional crew, use Waypoint Pro to master even very complex scenes.

Repeatable Routes

With Repeatable Routes, the aircraft automatically flies the same route and maintains all preset parameters such as altitude, speed, gimbal, and camera settings. By repeating the same flight mission, cinematographers can effortlessly execute difficult one-takes or fly at different times at the same place to easily create long-duration timelapses that capture transitions like day to night or season to season.

Ultrawide Light-Sensitive FPV Camera

The Inspire 3 is equipped with a new 1/1.8-inch sensor FPV camera with a 3μm pixel size, an ultra-wide DFOV of 161°, and the ability to transmit live feeds up to 1080p/60fps. Compared to its predecessor, the DFOV is nearly doubled. This FPV camera delivers more impressive light-sensing capability, allowing pilots to observe their surroundings vividly and clearly, even at night, ensuring a higher level of flight safety.

Full-Frame 8K Imaging System

DJI’s lightest full-frame three-axis gimbal camera ever, the X9-8K Air, is custom-made for the Inspire 3 to elevate drone cinematography. It features DJI’s latest image processing system, CineCore 3.0, supporting internal recording of up to 8K/25fps CinemaDNG video as well as 8K/75fps Apple ProRes RAW video, meeting the needs of top-tier film and television productions.

DL-Mount Lenses

The X9-8K Air, which adopts DJI’s proprietary DL-mount, is compatible with an additional 18mm F2.8 full-frame ultra-wide-angle lens and a new telephoto lens (to be released later) on top of the previous full-frame lenses of DL 24/35/50 mm F2.8. All five lenses are custom-made for aerial photography. The housings are made of lightweight monocoque carbon fiber, with the lightest lens weighing only 178g, meeting Inspire 3’s requirement for ultra-high agility.

DJI RC Plus

The Inspire 3 comes with a professional-grade remote controller, the DJI RC Plus, featuring a built-in 7-inch 1200-nit high-brightness screen to offer an extraordinary outdoor monitoring experience. It also includes an HDMI output, along with various buttons and dials on the front, back, and top that enable quick and intuitive operation. Button functions can also be customized to user habits, providing a smoother operating experience. The built-in battery of the RC Plus offers a working time of approximately 3.3 hours, extendable to 6 hours with an external WB37 battery. It also supports hot-swapping the battery to enhance creative efficiency.

Cinema-Grade O3 Pro Video Transmission

The Inspire 3 is equipped with O3 Pro, DJI’s latest cinema-quality video transmission system that allows a maximum transmission distance of 15 km in single control mode and 12 km in dual control mode. Both the gimbal camera and FPV camera support 1080p/60fps live feeds and an ultra-low latency of 90 ms. Compared to the Lightbridge video transmission system of the Inspire 2, O3 Pro has made a generational leap in transmission distance, latency, and overall stability. For the first time, 4K/30fps live feeds are also supported with a maximum 5 km transmission distance to meet the needs of UHD monitoring and on-set live streaming.
